Detailed Info on Classes and Fund Raiser's
I Have Limited Travel Teaching to my immediate area Due to Gas Prices, Economy and Semi Retiring, I will continue Classes in my local area and groups of 3 or more Only.
I will cover as much as possible about my classes here. If you have a question on something I haven't covered I will be happy to answer them for you, use my Contact Form. You will have an answer within 24 hours. By the way, If you already paint, I would love to hear from you too!
Classes Taught:
Beginners to Advanced Welcomed!
=Painting landscapes, farm scenes, seascapes, snow capped mountain scenes, waterfalls, still life (On Canvas),
=Decorative Painting On Home and Garden Decor from outdoor tables to flower pots) and also
=One Stroke painting is really having control over your brush and making use of completing a leaf, flower petal, tree trunk, branches, etc. with just a one stroke technique (on most anything) and the way the brush is loaded. It simplifies and makes decorative painting fun and fast.
=Greeting Cards by YOU. Always be prepared for that special day at a moments notice.
Classes and Workshops Can Be Most Anywhere ~ Church Groups ~ Garden Clubs ~ Including Home Classes. The Kitchen is the perfect place because of tables, seating and access to water. No less then 3 students for any class.
Since we have moved and down-sized, I no longer have a Studio that is large enough to accommodate teaching. This is great savings for you! No overhead costs of a studio, lights, easels, etc., plus I am more interested in making painting friends.
I can go to your Home, Church, Club House, Recreation center, etc......
Keep things simple, no need for cooking or snacks and everyone can bring their own bottled water or soft drink. We don't want our hostess to spend her time serving. We want to keep it simple!
Never picked up a brush? No Problem!
Learn to Paint on anything from Greeting Cards to Mailboxes, Canvas Paintings to Fabric and Furniture. Paint Trash to Treasure items pretty enough to give as gifts for your friends, family, co-workers, neighbors... Incredible Fun and Satisfaction!
Keep a few yard sale finds or a pack of new pillow cases or just some blank Greeting Cards around to paint for last minute notice of Birthday's or whatever pops up, be ready with your personalized gift and make memories!
Fund Raiser:
Want to Raise Money for Your Church, Social Group or Charity? Churches and Social Groups are always raising money for great causes, let's make it fun and learn how to paint and take something beautiful home at end of each class!
Here's How It Works; (1 Set = 3 Classes with at least 6 Students)
Each Set of classes will receive $100.00 to your group leader for your Church or Social Group.
More then One (1) Set in a month is acceptable.
Example: Have 12 people to sign? Then you would have 2 Sets of classes and receive $200.00 at end of last class for your fund raiser, and so on.
Time Limit: Each Set of classes to finish within one month.
Type of class: You will all have to decided on what set of classes to paint =
1. Canvas: Landscape or Still Life
2. Trash to Treasure items: You bring your item of choice.
3. Fabric Painting: Old T-shirt, Pillow Cases, Table Runner, Apron.. it needs to be washable and small enough to handle on table space shared with others.
Cost: $35.00 per student, per class.
What a great way to have fun, meet others with interest in painting, take a beautiful painting home and get something back for your groups cause (feed children and give them something pretty you painted for Birthdays, Christmas, Easter (painted flowers on eggs even plastic eggs)!
Learn different painting methods, from Home and Garden Decor, Garage Sale finds (Trash to Treasure) to fabric items such as T-shirts, Aprons, Pillow cases. And have an Art & Craft Fair to earn more plus a great activity for your Church and Group members, incorporate the beaders, quilters, bakers, and all handcraft's of all members that want to join in and you will have a well balanced art and craft fair right at your own Church, Town Hall, Recreation Center. Fun for all!
You will receive a supply list, have your supplies ready at class.
Example of Supplies Needed - a few acrylic paints either in tube (for canvases) or 2 oz. bottled (Americana, Folk Art, Deco Art) which can be used not only for decorative painting but for starting out on canvas also, brushes, foam plates as temporary palettes, paper towels, water basin or a clean butter dish for cleaning your brushes.
Don't forget something old to paint in.
If Canvas Painting Class chosen I will bring canvas and no need for easels.
If painting Trash to Treasure - you bring your item of choice.
Acrylic paints are easy to clean up, odorless, Non-Toxic, have lasting beauty, durability and inexpensive, no need for buying other mixing and cleaning supplies. Supply list given at sign up.

Classes in the comfort of your own home.
No less then 3 students.
Local classes only.
A week's notice to prepare your class and give ample time for your friends to be ready with their supplies.

Payments can be made in person or Online. Accepted = Cash, Check or Credit Card
All Classes are 2 hour sessions (most of the time a full painting can be finished in this time unless we have a lot of detail which I can give instruction on and you can finish later or continue with another scheduled class if you prefer). The choice is yours.
